The news that Jack Dorsey will be absent from the Blue Sky this weekend caused a stir. After all, Mr. Dorsey is a former Twitter co-founder and CEO, so his investment of time into his rival social network was a significant one. The decentralized social networking service is looking for new executives, he said.
But today we got to talk about an update on Mr. Dorsey's stock, but that wasn't the only topic we talked about. Ahead of a busy earnings week, we also dug into the latest employment news for China's tech giants. Like many big tech stores in the US, they're cutting staff. Technology shops around the world are showing us that we can do more with less.
Sticking with China, the country plans to hold another IPO, this time in the United States. Momenta could raise up to $300 million in its debut, meaning its upcoming listing will carry real weight. (Click here for more information about Momenta.)
Finally, we looked at the new capital the U.S. government is pumping into digital twins and why alternative clouds are making serious strides but may soon hit a growth speed bump. Stocks will return on Wednesday. Let's talk then!
