Two of the industry's most famous sisters, Erin Foster and Sara Foster, sit down with business partner Phil Schwartz at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 to talk consumer investing, cultural curation, and what it means to be a creative today.
Conversations taking place on the main stage at Disrupt will cover a range of topics, including the creator economy, consumer investment and more.
Erin Foster and Sara Foster are the very definition of a multi-hyphenate duo.
They are the founders of Oversubscribed Ventures, which invests in consumer brands and technology (its portfolio includes diaper brand Kudos). Sarah is also an angel investor, and her portfolio includes swimwear brand Summersalt. The sisters are also the founders of Favorite Daughter, a clothing and lifestyle brand sold at luxury retailers Moda Operandi and Saks. They also have an upcoming Netflix show, Nobody Wants This, which Erin created and stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, in which she plays a podcaster and a rabbi who fall in love.
Sarah and Erin also run their own podcast, The World's First Podcast, which covers themes of love and self-improvement.
That means there's a lot to talk about.
And of course, there's Phil Schwartz. Schwartz is a partner at early-stage firm Corazon Capital. He helped Sarah and Erin Foster start Oversubscribed Ventures and serves as an advisor to the company's investment committee. He was CMO at Tinder, head of growth at Match Group, and co-founded the Kaplan/Techstars EdTech Accelerator.
That means even more to talk about!
