Google announced Wednesday that it is revamping the Google Calendar web interface in accordance with Material Design 3 guidelines. This update also includes support for dark mode.
Updated elements include more “modern and accessible” controls such as buttons, dialogs, and sidebars. According to the company.
Screenshots on the Google Workspace blog show that the company is choosing more rounded or pill-shaped icons and dialogs instead of squares or rectangles with edges, and also that they're different from the current interface. Differences in the compared color schemes are suggested.
Google is also updating the typeface throughout the Calendar UI to improve text readability. Additionally, icons have been updated for a crisper look and easier readability.

The best part about this update is that it finally brings dark mode support. To change this setting,[設定]>[外観]Move to[ライト モード],[ダーク モード],or[デバイスのデフォルト]Select.
Google added that these design updates will also apply to the task view list on tasks.google.com, along with support for dark mode. The company says the entire rollout will take several weeks, so you may not see the design changes in the Calendar interface right away.
