TikTok is rolling out new ways for creators to raise money for charities and causes they're passionate about. The company has partnered with Goodstack, a fintech company that manages charitable giving, to allow creators to support organizations from a verified database of nonprofit partners like the American Red Cross and Save the Children. TikTok is also introducing features that allow creators to personalize their fundraising efforts.
Creators can now add a custom title, description, background image, and goal amount to their fundraising pages. We also have a dedicated space for you to share why you're passionate about what we do through personal messages and stories.
Every fundraiser comes with a special sticker that creators can share on video, post, or live. The sticker tallies the total donations from all stickers distributed.

TikTok has had standard donation stickers since 2020, but the newly updated donation experience will allow creators to launch personalized fundraisers and promote them more effectively. Previously, standard donation links could only be shared via stickers. Now, you can choose to do something personal in your friend's honor, such as starting a fundraiser to raise $500 for the American Heart Association.
“From international nonprofits to local community initiatives, creators can now choose the organizations they're passionate about from GoodStack's verified database of nonprofit partners,” TikTok said in a blog post.
Founded in 2015, Goodstack is a SaaS company that helps manage charitable donations to prominent organizations such as UNICEF, American Heart Association, WWF, Oxfam, and UNHCR. The company closed a $28 million Series A funding round led by General Catalyst a few weeks ago.
