According to a leaked page discovered by software engineer Tibor Blaho on We provide. and GPT-4o.
Unlike most AIs, o1, o1-mini, and other inference models effectively fact-check themselves. This helps avoid some of the pitfalls that models usually stumble upon, but the downside is that it often takes a long time to reach a solution. O1 and o1-mini reason through tasks, plan ahead, and perform a series of actions that help the model arrive at an answer.
According to the page, ChatGPT Pro includes unlimited access to Advanced Voice Mode, ChatGPT's human-like conversation feature, which “uses more computing to get the best answers to your toughest questions.” Also included is a new “o1 pro mode”.
However, this can come at a hefty price. According to the page, ChatGPT Pro starts at $200 or £200/€229 per month, depending on your region. Users who upgrade from ChatGPT Plus to Pro will receive a prorated credit for the remainder of their subscription.
That would make ChatGPT Pro the most expensive subscription plan from OpenAI to date, costing 10 times more than ChatGPT Plus.
Another leaked web page discovered by Blaho contains another surprise. It's a reference to what could be OpenAI's next major model. According to the page, subscribers to OpenAI's ChatGPT Team plan will soon have access to a “limited preview” of GPT-4.5.
