“We need to stimulate a new gig economy,” Dunn said. “These are people who are enterprising and bring others together, and we're really working with Pie to inspire them, to fund them, to help create these IRL communities. We have launched a fund called Creator Fund.”
Its mission is to curb social isolation, especially as we are still feeling the effects of the pandemic, with social circles becoming smaller and work being done remotely. However, the path to mass adoption of this type of social network is unclear.
