Elon Musk's AI company xAI is testing a standalone iOS app for the chatbot Grok, which was previously only available to X users.
The app, currently in beta in Australia and several countries, provides access to real-time data from the web and X, offers generative AI features such as text rewriting, long paragraph summaries, quick Q&A, and images. can also be generated. Also text prompts.

xAI is also preparing a dedicated site, Grok.com, to make chatbots accessible on the web. Currently, when you log in with your xAI account, the site says “Coming Soon.”
Until recently, Grok was only available to paid subscribers of X. The company began testing a free version of the chatbot in November and rolled it out to all users earlier this month.
The company says its chatbot's image generation model excels at “photorealistic rendering,” and there are no major limitations applied to its image generation capabilities, allowing users to access photos of celebrities and copyright-protected images. It is said that images can be created using the same materials.
