Elvie, a female-founded hardware startup, has unveiled a new app-controlled smart bouncer that gently transforms into a basket net while carrying a baby. With the new Elvie Rise, announced at CES 2025 on Monday, parents and caregivers no longer have to move babies between cradling, sleep and play products.
The startup is known for its portfolio of women's health products, including connected breast pumps and smart pelvic floor exercisers, and is now expanding into the sleep category with its latest product.
In bouncer mode, the product uses Elvie's SootheLoop technology to record and repeat the bounce initially established by a parent or caregiver. It can also be used as a manual bouncer if parents don't want automatic bounces. In bassinet mode, the smart bouncer follows American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) sleep safety guidelines to help your baby sleep safely at night and during naps.

Parents and caregivers can control automatic bounce using the companion Elvie Rise Sleep & Soothe app. The app also provides parents with valuable insight into their baby's sleep patterns.
Elvie Rise has a firm, flat mattress, is constructed from breathable fabric, and charges with a magnetic contact charger for cordless use.
Elvie says the product meets U.S. safety guidelines for both bassinet and bouncer products.
“We've spoken to hundreds of postpartum parents and found that the next big stress after breastfeeding was cradling the baby and getting it to sleep,” Alex Knox, chief product officer at Elvie, said in a press release. mentioned in. “Elvie Rise gives all parents and caregivers the opportunity to take back their time hands-free and guilt-free, knowing their baby is safe and sound.”
Elvie Rise is available for pre-order from Elvie.com starting Monday for $799.
