On Wednesday, Google announced it was updating its “Results About You” tool to help users easily protect and delete personal information from search results. The company says it has improved its sign-up process and simplified requests for removal directly from Google searches.
This tool can be used to actively monitor and delete things like physical addresses from phone numbers, email addresses, and search results.
With this latest update, users can click on the three dots next to Google search results to view an updated menu where they can send a delete request immediately via the “Delete this Result” option .
In the past, you would have had to go to the “Your Results” tool that was hidden in your Google account settings.

Additionally, users can now request updates to information using the 3-dot menu.
For example, if you remove content about yourself from a website and your search has not been updated to reflect this, Google's system can request an update to “recruit” the page to get the latest updates. Masu.
To use this feature, you must fill out a form and provide contact information so that Google can check if it matches the information on the search results page. If Google finds results in the information, you can choose to receive notifications.
The company points out that your information has not been shared or used to personalize your experience across Google products.
This feature is available to users in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, France, Sweden, Thailand, India and Indonesia.
