Apple revealed an update to the TVOS 26 for the Apple TV operating system at the WWDC 2025 event on Monday. It features the “liquid glass” aesthetics from Apple TV, offering a sophisticated “non-conspicuous” design.
One of the outstanding features of users is that they can quickly jump to their user profile. Apple TV presents profile options every time they wake up from sleep, making it more convenient for each family to choose their profile and immediately watch their favorite shows and movies.
The Revamped Apple TV app now features new poster art on the main screen, allowing you to view more shows and movies. Additionally, the Control Center, which allows users to perform actions such as starting a sleep timer and adjusting the audio, has undergone liquid glass treatment. This ensures that the video remains in focus while viewers monitor the content.
Additionally, TVOS 26 introduces a new API for developers that link app logins to your Apple accounts, simplifying the user's sign-in process when configuring a new device.
