Google has launched a new journaling app called the Pixel Journal at the Pixel 10 Launch event. This has been coming in nearly two years since Apple introduced the Journal app with the arrival of iOS 17 in 2023.
According to Google, Pixel Journal uses an on-device AI model to encourage users to fill out journal entries. This app can create or suggest prompts based on memory, past entries, or goals.
Additionally, apart from recording your mood, you can add photos, locations and activities to your journal entries.

The company said that journal apps will learn about your patterns based on your writing habits and provide a variety of insights, such as the longest word count in a month or week, the number of entries in a month or week.
You can also lock the journal app to prevent others from accessing the entry.

This app is only available to Pixel 10 series devices, but Google may release it for older pixel phones in the future.
