Bookmarks are a popular feature for original X users and heavy news consumers. Bookmarks allow you to manage collections of links and posts that you need to refer to for any reason. X also allows paid subscribers to organize their bookmarks into different folders for easier access.

The bookmark icon is at the bottom of the post[X]Although easily accessible from , the new features of threads are a little hidden. Instead of saving a post from the app's main timeline, you'll need to tap the three-dot menu to access the “Save” option.
To return to your bookmarks later, you will need to go to the app's settings screen.

After announcing the news about the new addition via a thread (of course!), several users complained in the comments that they still couldn't access the feature or even recently announced trends. That's because Instagram is rolling out new Threads features in stages, and not to the entire Threads user base at once. This makes sense for Threads. That's not only because the project has fewer engineering resources than the rest of Meta, but also because Threads itself is still a big app, with about 130 million monthly active users.
Bookmarks aren't the only new feature Threads users are looking forward to. Another Threads user noticed in his Instagram notifications that he started receiving notifications from Threads and Facebook. In another effort to grow the app, Threads has also begun testing the ability to cross-post from Facebook to Threads, the company confirmed last week.
