One of the main complaints of Airbnb users over the years is that they are unable to immediately tell them how much they will pay for their stay, including fees such as cleaning fees. Airbnb is currently revising it by automatically displaying the total cost of a particular property, including all charges.
Users around the world search for real estate will see prices before tax by default. When you search for properties on the web, Airbnb will see a small label that says “Price includes all prices.”

Airbnb began testing the feature in 2019 in some countries, including Europe, Australia, Canada and South Korea. In 2022, the company introduced an optional toggle to display prices before taxes in search results in the US and 200 other countries.
In 2023, we expanded our toggle reach to price filters, maps and list pages. Airbnb said it has been using the feature since its 17 million users were deployed. The toggle is no longer in a new release.
Airbnb said since 2023 it has provided the ability for hosts to view properties similar to theirs and compare prices. The host also shows how much the guest is paying before tax to re-adjust the pricing.
