The Startup Battlefield 200 is a major highlight of every Disrupt, and we're excited to find out which of the thousands of startups that apply will get the chance to pitch to top VCs at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024. Alice Brooks, Partner, Khosla Ventures

Alice is a Partner at Khosla Ventures with interests in sustainability, food, agriculture, and manufacturing/supply chain. She has worked at multiple startups in robotics, IoT, retail, consumer, and STEM education, running mechanical, electrical, and app development teams in the US and Asia. She has also launched and managed manufacturing operations in factories in China and Taiwan. Prior to KV, she was the Founder and CEO of Roomminate, a STEM education company empowering girls to learn engineering concepts through play.

Mark Klein, Partner, General Catalyst

Mark Crane is a Partner at General Catalyst, a venture capital firm that works with founders from seed to endurance stage to help build companies that will stand the test of time. He focuses on sourcing and investing in later stage investment opportunities such as AuthZed, Bugcrowd, Resilience and TravelPerk. Prior to joining General Catalyst, he was a Vice President at Cove Hill Partners in Massachusetts. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at JMI Equity and an Associate at North Bridge Growth Equity.

Sophia Dolphe, Partner, Index Ventures

Sofia partners with founders who are leveraging her unique perspective and personal understanding of the problems to create businesses that lead to behavior change, powerful network effects, and reshape entire industries from grocery and e-commerce to financial services and healthcare. Sofia is also one of the leaders of the gaming practice at Index Ventures, working with top European gaming companies to create the next generation of iconic gaming titles. She spends most of her time in the Nordics but works with entrepreneurs across the continent.

Christine Esserman, Partner at Accel

Christine Esserman joined Accel in 2017 and focuses on software, internet and mobile technology companies. Since joining Accel, Christine has led Accel's investments in Blackpoint Cyber, Linear, Merge, ThreeFlow, Bumble, Remote, Dovetail, Ethos, Guru and Headway. Prior to Accel, Christine held product and operations roles at numerous startups. Christine is a Bay Area native and graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance and Operations.

Haomiao Huang, Founding Partner, Matter Venture Partners

Haomiao of Matter Venture Partners is a robotics researcher turned founder and investor. He is particularly passionate about companies bringing digital innovation to physical economy businesses, focusing on sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and transportation, as well as advanced technologies such as robotics and AI. Haomiao invested in hard tech with Wen Hsieh at Kleiner Perkins for four years. Prior to that, he founded smart home security startup Kuna, developed self-driving cars at Caltech, and pioneered aerodynamics and control of multi-rotor UAVs as part of his doctoral research at Stanford. Kuna participated in Y Combinator's Winter 14 batch.
