Apple has sent an invitation to the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), a developer-centric event that will be held at the catchphrase of “Horizon” from June 9th to June 13th.
The company may announce new versions of its operating system: iOS 19, iPados 19, Watchos 12, Macos 16, and Visionos 3. Developer Conferences are both in-person and online, and Apple will be introducing online group sessions for the first time, according to the announcement page.
The company will also announce a number of features related to Apple Intelligence. The report suggests that these include intelligent battery management and virtual health assistants. The company announced Apple Intelligence in many fanfares last year, but it has not yet reached the mark among users.
Apple is slowly unfolding features such as AI-generated emojis, images, and email summaries. However, after an inaccurate headline, I had to pause the news summary in the notification. Additionally, we have not shipped new versions of SIRIs that integrate with the app, and we acknowledge that deployment is delayed.
On iOS 19, iPados 19, and Macos 16, Apple is reportedly bringing a ton of visual change with a design language that follows the Visionos user interface. According to a report from Bloomberg, the company said it will revamp icons, menus, apps, Windows and system buttons while simplifying navigation and control.
Separately, Apple is reportedly internally testing AI-powered coding tools in partnership with humanity. If these tests are successful, the company could make these tools available to all developers at WWDC.
