In 2024 Apple showed a fashionable demo of what they said to be a new, intelligent Siri that connects to different apps and retrieves all kinds of information. However, this new Siri has yet to see the light of day, as it appears that the company has not been able to prepare it.
However, Bloomberg reports that Apple is currently testing a version of SIRI. The company plans to release a new version of the app Intents. Its framework allows developers to allow users to access parts of the app through various systems, such as searching and shortcuts.
Bloomberg reported that if this newer version of Siri and App Intents works well, users can ask Siri to search, edit and send photos to someone. Post a comment on the social app. Or log in to the service.
The company has already tested the feature on apps such as Uber, Alltrails, Threads, Temu, Amazon, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp, the report says. The publication previously reported that Apple plans to release an overhaul version of SIRI in spring 2026.
