Stellantis, the giant that makes cars behind Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and other brands, has confirmed a data breaches that include customer personal information. In a statement released Sunday, Stellantis said it had experienced a violation of “a platform of third-party service providers that support customer service operations in North America.” The statement said “contact information” was obtained, but a company spokesperson did not respond to TechCrunch's questions about what kind of customer data was taken in the violation. According to the European Union's cybersecurity agency ENISA, the airport disruption in Europe that began over the weekend was caused by ransomware attacks. “ENISA recognizes the ongoing disruption in the operation of the airport due to a third-party ransomware incident. At this time, ENISA cannot share any further information regarding the cyberattack,” the agency said in an emailed statement to TechCrunch. The ransomware attacks target Collins Aerospace, a company that provides check-in systems to several airports, including Berlin, Brussels and London's Heathrow.
