The infamous Internet Forum 4chan was hacked on Tuesday. At the time of writing, the 4chan website had not been loaded. Social media users reported that the site was down for several hours intermittently. The message on the rival message board seen by TechCrunch praised Hack. The Trump Trade War has spread word-of-mouth in Tiktok, bringing Chinese e-commerce app Dhgate to the top of US app stores. Neptune is one of the latest short form video apps on the block that seeks to compete with major players such as Tiktok, Instagram reels and YouTube shorts. Rental giant Hertz has begun notifying customers of data breaches, including personal information and driver's licenses. The rental company, which also owns the Dollar and Thrifty brand, said in a notice on its website that the violation was linked to one of the vendors' cyberattacks between October 2024 and December 2024. Stolen data varies from region to region, but mainly includes HERTZ customer name, date of birth, contact information, driver's license, payment card information, and worker's compensation claims. On Monday, Meta announced that it will be training AI models in the EU for public content such as Facebook and Instagram posts and comments. The audio-enabled traffic-controlled crosswalk button across Silicon Valley was hacked over the weekend and contained an audio snippet that mimics the voices of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Videos shot by locals in Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Redwood City in California show that they were making AI-generated speeches designed to make the crosswalk button sound like 200 million. “One crosswalk button hacked to sound like Zuckerberg said: “I just want to assure you.
