Meta's newest social network, Threads, is launching its own fact-checking program after piggybacking on Instagram and Facebook's networks for several months. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said the company “recently” introduced the ability for fact checkers to evaluate and mark false content in threads. However, Mosseri did not provide details on when exactly the program was rolled out or whether it was limited to specific regions. It is also unclear which organizations are Thread Meta's fact-checking partners. We've asked the company for more information and will update the story if we hear back. The move appears to be primarily aimed at…

TLDR: During COVID lockdowns, FUBO reached a share price of $62.29. This time around, we estimate FUBO may reach a conservative share price between $20 – $30 if retail is able to maintain the momentum from similar stocks such as GME and AMC. The stock market is no stranger to volatility, and one of the most intriguing phenomena in recent years has been the short squeeze. A short squeeze occurs when a heavily shorted stock’s price begins to rise sharply, forcing short sellers to cover their positions by buying the stock, which in turn drives the price even higher. Fubo…

Although the execution time was 110 minutes, Google was able to reference the AI a whopping 121 times during I/O in 2024 (by its own count). CEO Sundar Pichai referenced the numbers at the end of his presentation, cheekily saying the company was doing the “hard work” of calculating for us. Of course, it's no surprise that this topic garnered so much attention, but it's still an impressive number for a presentation that is approximately 110 minutes all-inclusive. Gemini and its various iterations stole the spotlight (after pre-show warm-up act Marc Rebillet had finished it). Google incorporates his LLM-based platform…
