The adoption of the IP (intellectual property) blockchain and tokenization of assets is still in the early stages, but more creative in the entertainment industry accepts what is called “tokenized storytelling.” This approach allows fans to participate in story development and donate elements such as characters and plots that can be owned as digital assets.

David S. GOYER (known for “BLADE”, “The Dark Knight”, and “Foundation” is known for the “Foundation” “is a blockchain technology that can give fans to fans in creative processes. It is the latest filmmaker and manga writer to explore how to do it.

GOYER (photo above) announced on Tuesday has launched a new science fiction franchise called “Emergence” in cooperation with the new entertainment platform using STORY's IP blockchain.

Insension, which has been supported by A16Z Crypto, aims to provide an IP holder a platform to protect his work and interact with viewers. The company was established by Chase Rosenblatt (CEO) and Spencer Marell (Coo).

“I was intrigued by the idea of using a wider community and using a tokenization of these ideas,” Goyer told TechCrunch. “The beautiful part of these platforms is to create something, regardless of what it is, and track the creation of all the following media, whether it is a picture, short story, or T -shirt, and create a watermark. You will do it forever.

From today, everyone welcomes Emergence on Emergence, the first IP that debuted on the Incension platform. This includes artists who want to create their own stories, artists with characters and scenery visions, and musicians who want to contribute to soundtracks.

If the idea created by the community gets enough votes and is approved, it will be part of the official Canon. Fans are rewarded by ownership and gives the success of the story.

Goyer has clarified us the details of Emergence. It focuses on white holes known as the “white fountain” that discharges thousands of mysterious relics throughout the galaxy with incredible power. Just like his previous project, Goyer's New UNIVERSE is made carefully and has a wealth of complex details and unique characters, but offers enough space for creative search.

GOYER and the winner of the writer who have won the award have also created a “World Bible” or guide, which indicates the theme of the story, characters, and an overview of the evolved plot line. For example, we will details various types of relics (micro, macro, mega relics) and introduce various types of creatures, including advanced humans known as “The Kind”.

Some characters, including Captain Skadi (posted in the image below), are completely fleshed. When I was a child, I touched the macro melting and turned her whole world, including parents and siblings, into glass. As GOYER says, there is a service worker, a service worker, travels around the galaxy and witnesses many strange wools.

Beyond the world's Bible, many of the stories are not told. GOYER intentionally keeps many questions about the universe, such as the nature of the relics and its origin.

In addition, Insension has built an AI agent called “ATLAS,” and supports the collaborator to ensure accuracy by generating ideas and answering questions about the world or specific character. Atlas can also create videos and images.

In the future, GOYER stated that fans have the opportunity to vote on specific aspects of the story, such as the fate of the characters (alive or dying) and the introduction of new characters to the universe. There is also a leader board for tracking points and the function of inviting other people on the platform to cooperate.

It is unknown that Insension users can monetize content. The company refused to comment.

Incension may present an exciting opportunity that fans will be deeply involved with influential science fiction writers like GOYER, but it is still time to judge whether other people will board. 。 Many creators prefer to control IP directly and are generally resistant to adopting new technologies such as blockchain and AI.

The goyer said: [Incention] It allows people who may have lowered the barrier, invaded, earned money, and had no way to get recognition early.
