ByteDance's video editing app CapCut will stop offering free cloud storage to host creative assets from August 5.
Over the past few days, users have been receiving notifications that CapCut has changed the terms of its free plan. Previously, the company offered 1GB of free cloud storage, but this will no longer be available. From now on, users will have to pay for cloud storage on CapCut.
This will probably be the last time you use capcut before this change begins.
I don't have the money to pay for the subscription because I have important things to pay for.

CapCut offers plans for 100GB of storage for $2.49 per month and 1000GB of storage for $7.49 per month, meaning creators will need to purchase additional space or share files through another cloud service provider.
The app supported up to five collaborators per account on its free plan but has now reduced that limit to two.
“Starting August 5th, users will be able to add one collaborator to their CapCut account for free. If users want to collaborate with more people, CapCut will offer team tier packages, which will enable CapCut users to collaborate with more user accounts and utilize the same cloud space,” a company spokesperson told TechCrunch in a statement.
Earlier this year, YouTube made its CapCut rival Create app available in 13 markets, including Brazil, Spain, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.
