Apple will be holding the Developer-focused Worldwide Developer Conference in 2025 from June 9th to June 13th. The keynote speech for the event is scheduled for June 9th at 1pm (ET/10am).

The company plans to overhaul the operating system design with the aim of making it easier to organize the design across surfaces and devices. You may also see changes to the operating system naming scheme. Instead of sticking to numbering for older versions, Apple reportedly chooses to rename the operating systems iOS 26, iPados 26, Watchos 26, and TVOS 26.
For developers, the company is reportedly planning a Vibe coding tool powered by AI in partnership with humanity for a new version of the programming tool suite Xcode.
