Google Chrome is trying to make your browsing experience more convenient by giving you access to your tab groups and recently opened tabs across all your devices.
The company is adding tab groups to iOS devices. In the Chrome app, you can long-press a tab from the tab switcher view to create a new tab group or add it to an existing one. You can also assign a color code to a tab group. Chrome first introduced tab grouping on desktop in 2020 and then added it to Android. It's worth noting that Safari already has the tab groups feature, so Google is aiming for feature parity with this rollout.
Now with Tab Groups on iPhone and iPad, Google has announced that you'll soon be able to sync Tab Groups across devices, which can be useful if you're planning a trip or want to save a page with a 15-minute dinner recipe on your desktop and then access it later in the kitchen from your phone.

If you have a tab open on your desktop but don't bookmark it, you might have a hard time remembering the URL when you want to open it on your phone. Google is experimenting with a feature that proactively suggests tabs you have currently open on your other devices.
For example, if you open a long article on your desktop but have to rush to catch a taxi or a bus, Google will surface that tab through the “Continue in this tab” feature.
Tab group syncing and URL suggestions both sound good but haven't been rolled out yet, and we'll have to wait until the company actually rolls it out to see if handoff between devices works well.
