Atlas Menu, a cheat service for the popular online video game Grand Theft Auto V, has been hacked, according to data breach notification website Have I Been Pwned.
Have I Been Pwned said the stolen data included users' email addresses, usernames, scrambled passwords, IP addresses, and support tickets, and that approximately 64,000 accounts were involved in the breach.
Ironically, Atlas Menu claimed to offer “secure authentication and enhanced privacy with our advanced encryption technology,” according to its official website, but as of this writing it is closed.
The hacker who claimed responsibility for the breach posted the allegedly stolen data on GitHub. The hacker's motive appears to have been revenge against the scammers.
Atlas Menu's owners could not be reached for comment.

According to a video posted on the website, Atlas Menu offered features such as “hide”, for example. “Super Jump” allows the player to jump higher than normal. and the ability to fly around the map.
The impact of this breach appears to be that users who sign up for Atlas Menu may be able to cheat in the game. Game cheating has developed into a multi-million dollar business as professional gamers seek an edge over their competitors.
Atlas Menu is not the first cheat service to be hacked. A popular cheat service for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was reportedly compromised several years ago.
