Meta Connect 2024 kicks off on Wednesday at 10 a.m. PST with a keynote from CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The developer event will focus on Meta's XR (VR and AR) platform, the Metaverse, and Llama, the Facebook parent company's open-source generative AI platform. New hardware like the Meta Quest 4, updates to Meta Ray-Bans, and a preview of the new “Orion” AR headset might be shown off in the California sun.
There are a few ways you can stream the presentations live. The easiest way is to bookmark the Meta Connect site, which is free to sign up for. Meta will also stream it on their Developer Facebook page. If you want to feel like you're in Menlo Park from the comfort of your living room, you can also access the keynote from Horizon Worlds via a Meta Quest headset.
Like last year's event, Meta will be streamed on YouTube. We'll add a link to this post once it goes live. The event will run through Thursday, and will also feature a developer panel via YouTube and Facebook. You can find the full Meta Connect 2024 schedule at this link.
As always, TechCrunch will bring you the latest news.
