CES 2025 kicks off on January 7th, but many of the biggest events and announcements actually begin today through a series of live streams and press conferences. The annual Las Vegas event sets the tone for the consumer electronics and automotive industries for the year. As always, TechCrunch is there to sniff out stories from the most exciting startups and tech giants. And you can follow the live broadcast here.
If you really want to watch some of the action without paying for a hotel or flight, many of the event's biggest keynotes will be streamed. The show will officially run from January 7th to 10th, but most of the big news will be announced before the show through in-person press events. These are mainly set for the “Press Day” on January 6th.
As always, the event will focus on big names in the technology industry, including AMD, Nvidia, Samsung, Toyota, and Sony. The good news for those who want to avoid mingling with the 140,000 international attendees is that all major press conferences and keynotes will be livestreamed through companies' press pages or CES itself.
Here's how to watch featured events: And for an early preview of what else to expect at CES this year, head here.

AMD is going all out for that at CES 2025. While chipmaker Nvidia remains at the forefront of the AI boom, its competitor is sucking the oxygen out of every room it graces. So how will AMD counter Nvidia's reported RTX 5000 announcement?
The company needs to show off its own next-generation GPUs. As part of the ongoing rebranding, the RDNA 4 cards may arrive as the RX 8000 or RX 9000 series.

Toyota has already announced that it will provide an update on its Woven City initiative, an ambitious initiative first unveiled in 2020, during its CES presentation. The stream is posted here so you can watch it.

Samsung's CES reporter is always a weirdo. Korean electronics giants generally maintain a dry attitude when it comes to home appliances. After all, the company is expected to announce its latest flagship device, the Galaxy S25, towards the end of January.
CES 2025 will continue the company's TV and consumer electronics tradition. There are also possibilities, such as consumer robots that will probably never see the light of day. Samsung has adopted the tagline “AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere” for its presentation, which begins January 6th at 2pm PT/5pm ET.
January 6th 5pm PT/8pm ET
Sony is no stranger to big CES press day events, and has already announced two products ahead of this year's event. The SRH-S1 augmented reality headset is an addition to the Bravia home theater line. You can watch the rest of the stream here or in the embed below.

There's no doubt that Nvidia will host the biggest CES of 2025. After all, the company currently has almost all of the biggest ones. The semiconductor giant boasts a market capitalization of more than $3.4 trillion, largely due to its fundamental position in the ongoing AI boom. Companies like OpenAI and Meta have been buying Nvidia processors in bulk, and that's unlikely to change in the new year.
Founder and CEO Jensen Huang will help kick off CES 2025 “with his trademark leather jacket and unwavering vision,” according to Nvidia.
