Threads has made it easy to explore trending topics on the platform.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri said Tuesday that U.S. users will now see a label above posts that highlights related trending topics. When they tap on the label, they can see more posts related to that topic, and a new window will appear with “Top” and “Recent” tabs that let them filter posts.
“We hope this makes it easier for you to find posts and follow conversations relevant to your interests,” Mosseri said in the thread.
Threads began testing Trending Topics in the US in March and made the feature available to all US users a month later.
The social network continues to experiment with ways to help users find content that's more relevant to them: in May, it began rolling out a new TweetDeck-like multi-feed experience on its desktop interface.
Threads is also testing a similar multi-feed experience with a limited number of users on iOS.
“We're always testing new ways to improve your experience on Threads, and this test gives you more ways to customize your feed and follow the topics that interest you,” a Threads spokesperson told TechCrunch about the multi-feed UI.
