Business insurance startup Corgi on Wednesday announced a $160 million Series B led by TCV, valuing the company at $1.3 billion, company co-founder Nico Laqua said on LinkedIn.
This comes just four months after the company announced a $108 million Series A. The company has raised $268 million in funding to date, making it Y Combinator's latest unicorn, Laqua said.
Laqua founded the company in 2024 with Emily Yuan and was part of YC's Spring 2024 batch. Corgi, which counts Deel and Artisan as clients, offers general liability, cyber liability, and technology and AI liability coverage. Other investors in this round include Kindred Ventures, Leblon Capital, and First Order Fund.
Corgi did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
