TechCrunch Disrupt 2024, which will be held at Moscone West in San Francisco from October 28th to 30th, is fast approaching. Today, we are pleased to announce the 200 startups selected to participate in this year's Startup Battlefield 200 (SB 200) cohort.
TechCrunch's editorial staff read, vetted, and discussed thousands of applications. It was difficult to narrow down the group to 200 companies, but we are very excited about the results. Going through the vetting process was another reminder of how much creativity, innovation, and talent exists in the startup community. It surprises and inspires us. After reading the Startup Battlefield 200 list, you'll feel the same way.
These 200 companies from around the world represent innovation happening in the following categories:
SaaS, Enterprise & Productivity Healthtech & Biotech Hardware, Robotics & IoT Fintech & Edtech Security, Privacy & Social Networking Sustainability, Mobility & Logistics
Each startup will receive a complimentary VIP experience, including a masterclass on building and running a startup, teardown of a pitch deck, a selected reception, access to investors and international media, and more. They are the only early-stage startup allowed to exhibit at Disrupt 2024 and can be found on the show floor during the event.
SB 200 companies join a distinguished community of more than 1,300 Startup Battlefield alumni, including Cloudflare, Dropbox, Getaround, and Discord.
And what is TechCrunch Disrupt without a Startup Battlefield stage contest?
20 companies will be selected from the 200 companies to take the Disrupt stage in front of thousands of attendees for a chance to win $100,000 in non-stock prizes and the Disrupt Cup. These 20 companies will be announced on the first day of the conference. The remaining 180 people will pitch on the Pitch Showcase Stage in the Expo Hall. Both events are not to be missed.
