Spotify's annual Wrapped feature, which provides listeners with a fun, personalized overview of their listening habits, has gained immense popularity over the years. As a result, many companies are seizing the opportunity to create similar year-in-review experiences that provide users with a summary of their habits, preferences, and interactions over the past year.

Here are some platforms and websites that mimic the Spotify Wrapped concept.

amazon music

Amazon Music has a new Spotify Wrapped knockoff this year called “2024 Delivered,” which provides users with an overview of their listening statistics, including top artists, songs, and even podcasts. Notably, the platform also leverages Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, by providing users with special messages from their favorite artists. This feature is available in the app[ライブラリ]You can find it by tapping the page.

Previously, Amazon Music's equivalent of Spotify Wrapped was “My Year in Review,” a playlist of the 50 to 100 most popular songs based on annual statistics. Playlists can be found in the “Playlists” section or “Made For You.”

Apple Music

Apple-owned music streaming service Apple Music rolled out its “Replay” experience in 2019. This feature provides an overview of top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, and stations, including play counts, total watch time, and other insights. . You can also share your personalized listening data on social media, and our year-end highlight reel provides an audio and visual summary of the music you listened to the most throughout the year.

New this year is “Continuous Listening,” which provides you with the longest days you've listened to music on the service. We're also bringing this experience, previously only available on Apple's Replay website, to our mobile apps. Additionally, the platform also released a monthly version of Replay earlier this year, giving you access to your monthly music habits, including top songs, artists, albums, and more.

And if you're an Apple Books user, there's a Year in Review feature that shows you all the books and audiobooks you've read this year. You can find this book by selecting the green Year in Review icon in the Apple Books app.

Deezer

Deezer, another music streaming app, offers an annual roundup called “My Deezer Year.” It provides an overview of your yearly music consumption, including top songs, genres, most listened to albums, and favorite artists.

Two aspects in particular that make it stand out are the fact that it gives you the option to go “enthusiastic” or “excited” based on your musical tastes, and the ability to test how well your friends and family know your music tastes. It includes a quiz to take.

sound cloud

On the other hand, if you choose SoundCloud as your music streaming platform, you're in luck. The app recently launched its SoundCloud 2024 roundup, providing an overview of the top five artists, albums, tracks, and moods. It also shows your total listening time and provides a playlist of your 50 most listened to songs.

YouTube Music

YouTube Music's Recap feature provides a personalized, interactive experience with top 5 artists, songs, moods, genres, albums, playlists, and more. It also shows your longest continuous viewing time and the total amount of time you've listened in a year.

To access this feature, tap your profile avatar in the top right corner and select “Your Recap.” Available on Android and iOS mobile apps.

Duolingo

In addition to music streaming platforms, other types of platforms are also capitalizing on Spotify's success, such as language learning app Duolingo. The platform's “Year in Review” experience is a 10-page overview that reveals all sorts of insights for learners, including total XP earned, longest streak, and where they rank compared to other Duolingo users.

mastodon

Social networking app Mastodon also jumped on the trend this year, launching 'Wrapstodon', which provides an overview of the year on the platform, including the total number of posts created, new followers added, and the most boosted posts. Most commonly used hashtags.

Netflix wrap

Although Netflix doesn't offer its own version of a year-end recap, a video editing company called Kapwing has developed a tool that uses Netflix viewing data to provide interesting statistics about individual subscribers. This includes insights like a subscriber's “most eaten day” and total watch time.

To use this tool, simply import your Netflix viewing history. You'll get a variety of stats, including total minutes and days of streaming, top shows and movies watched, major binges (like watching an entire season in one day), most watched movie actors, and more.

reddit

Reddit users can see a broad overview of this year's activity through “Reddit Recap,” a feature that allows users to examine their year-long engagement on the platform. This tool provides a detailed breakdown of posts, total upvotes and downvotes received, and awards won throughout the year. It also shows the total time spent using the platform, as well as the most frequently used subreddits and topics.

crater

Inspired by the trend of TikTok users sharing “date wrap” presentations of their dates throughout the year, popular dating app Tinder has launched a new feature called “Ear-in-Swipe Vision Boards.” This tool allows users to create a personalized moodboard summarizing their dating experiences from 2024. Additionally, users can set their “date intentions” for next year, such as “finance manager” or “gamer girlfriend.”

Wrapped for TikTok

In 2020, TikTok launched a feature that shows the number of videos watched and engagement with the videos. However, it is no longer available, which prompted people to create their own versions.

One such tool was developed by Bennett Hollstein. This works similarly to Kapwing's tool and allows users to export their TikTok data. To do this, visit your TikTok settings page, click on “Settings & Privacy,” click on “Account,” and select “Download Data.” In either case, it is important to select JSON – Machine-readable file as the file format before uploading this file to Wrapped for TikTok.

Once the file is uploaded, you'll be able to view the total number of videos watched, total watch time, and engagement personas such as “Interaction Monster.”

Xbox

Gamers can also check their play stats on Xbox's Year in Review experience. Xbox users can see their top 3 titles, total number of video games played, total gamerscore, and total play time over the year. The summary also goes into more detail by indicating your preferred console for gaming and your busiest month where you played the most games.

pocket cast

If you listen to podcasts using Pocket Cast, which is owned by Mozilla, the app also releases summaries. You can review the summary by going to the Account tab. This new feature shows popular shows, podcast listens, number of podcasts, and longest episode.

circle back

YC-backed meeting recording company Circleback has released its own insights for 2024. This summary tells you the number of meetings, the time spent in meetings, the busiest day, the average and longest meeting duration, and the number of people you met at the meeting. Since this is a transcription tool, you can also see how much time you spoke, how fast you spoke, and how much minutes you saved with the AI note-taker.

collect

Another calendar app called Reclaim had its own Spotify Wrapped-style annual review. This should include the number of external and internal meetings, time spent on focused work and breaks, number of meetings, number of automatically scheduled meetings, and the nature of the meetings.

heavy

A yearly review of workout app Hevy showed users how many workouts they did that year, their top exercises, total time, total effort, and sets completed. What was interesting about this review was that the app displayed the weight lifted by the user in comparison to, say, an airplane.

eight sleep

Eight Sleep also has a summary that shows you how well (or badly) you slept throughout the year. A map of your daily sleep scores will be displayed, with the average shown below. Like other apps, you also get a sleep personality. The company also announced global sleep insights through a post on X.

Since it's still early December, more companies are likely to release their own annual roundups. Many services have released year-end recaps in the past, including Goodreads, Hulu, Pandora, PlayStation, Strava, and Tidal. Grocery store Aldi is also participating.

This story has been updated since publication to include newly added Wrapped features from various platforms.
