Samsung announced today that it will bring Galaxy AI capabilities to more devices through the new One UL 6.1 update, released in late March. This feature is available on the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, as well as the Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and Tab S9.
The AI feature was first introduced to the Galaxy S24 series, but will soon be available to more Samsung users. With nearly every technology company introducing and expanding its AI-powered capabilities, it makes sense for Samsung to make its capabilities more widely available.

This upcoming update will give users access to Google's “Circle to Search” feature. This allows users to search from anywhere on their phone using gestures like circling, highlighting, scribbling, and tapping. Another feature called Live Translate provides voice and text translation for your phone. In addition, users will have access to an “interpreter” feature that generates text translations of live conversations.
Users will also have access to “Chat Assist,” which allows them to adjust the tone of their messages and translate text into 13 languages via the Samsung keyboard.
In addition, the new “Notes Assist” feature allows users to create summaries and translate notes, and the “Browsing Assist” feature provides quick summaries of news articles.
As for new editing features, users will now be able to resize, reposition, and reposition objects in their photos using “generative” editing. Additionally, the “Edit Suggestions” feature helps you quickly finalize your photos, and the “Instant Slow Motion” feature generates additional frames for slow-motion videos to better capture the moment.
