This year, TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 showcased the incredible talent and breakthrough ideas of the 2024 Startup Battlefield 200 cohort.
From thousands of applications, we selected the 200 most promising startups that are bringing unique innovation to their respective industries. The competition culminated in an impactful event where these startups had the opportunity to pitch and demonstrate their solutions live over three days.
TechCrunch editorial staff selected the top five companies from among the top 20 finalists to compete for $100,000 in stock-free prize money and the coveted Disrupt Cup. A well-deserved winner was Salva Health, and runner-up was Gecko Materials.
Among the Startup Battlefield 200 companies, many industry-defining companies were on display and pitching on the Showcase stage. Things to note are:

Spirit of Disruption Award
The Spirit of Disruption award goes to Yasin Abak of GroupUps, who goes above and beyond to connect and create opportunities for founders. Startup Battlefield is more than just a pitch competition. It's an opportunity to build relationships with investors, potential customers, and fellow founders and support each other on your entrepreneurial journey.
We congratulate this year's winners and look forward to seeing how they shape the industry and drive innovation in the months and years to come. Congratulations to all Startup Battlefield 200 participants! Also, a special thank you to all the judges and sponsors who helped make TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 a huge success.
