in startup land, the life cycle of birth, growth, and the inevitable leap of faith happens at a breakneck pace. Still, we sometimes fall into the trap of mourning the demise of these companies. My opinion? That's a bad move.
The whole point of a startup is to build something that lasts. A corporate Mount Rushmore, so to speak. Yes, but if you think a little deeper, you'll see that the startup model itself relies on drama. Whether it's a dramatic climb or a plunge down the nearest mountainside. There is no in between. And within that dynamic, we can understand why we should not mourn failure.
