Meta announced Thursday that it has begun testing two of its “most requested” features: Drafts and in-app camera. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said both features are only available to a small number of people.
Users with access to drafts can only save one post (unfortunately). Write the post you want to post later in Composer and save the draft by simply swiping down. If you have a saved draft that you haven't posted yet, the Threads app will also show another composer icon in the bottom bar.
In addition to the new Drafts feature, Mark Zuckerberg posted photos through a new camera shortcut that opens in Composer. This shortcut makes it easy to quickly post photos to threads. However, it is unclear whether basic editing features such as image cropping are available.
This update will occur at the following times: X is considering adopting a Threads style carousel According to app researcher Nima Ouji, the purpose is to display images.
With over 130 million active users on the platform, Threads is introducing more tools to engage with these users. Earlier this month, the company introduced trending topics and began testing cross-posting functionality from Facebook.
