Tiktok is rolling out smart keyword filters powered by AI to allow people to limit content they don't want to see on your page, the company announced Tuesday.
Tiktok allows users to restrict certain content from already using keyword filters to display in their feeds, but the new smart keyword filter uses AI to further restrict content that contains similar keywords, such as synonyms.
This tool shows which additional keywords are filtered in addition to the original keywords. For example, if you choose to filter “modifications”, Tiktok will also rule out “modifications” and “modifications.” The company says users can select or deselect specific keywords they want to include immediately.

Tiktok will soon double the number of keywords that can be added from 100 to 200.
The company says it believes that the smart keyword filter will get more accurate overtime as more people use it.
Tiktok also announced that the management capabilities for topics that began piloting in the US in August 2024 have become available worldwide. This tool allows you to adjust For Feed to display more or less specific topics, such as sports, travel, humor, current affairs, dance, food, etc.
Go to Settings, select Content Settings, and[トピックの管理]You can access the features by clicking on the options. From there, you can move the slider to customize the specific type of content you want to see in your For Feed.
