The Ukrainian hacktivist group BO team claims it was hacked by the network of Russian drone maker Gaskar Group, disrupting its business.
In a post on the Telegram Channel, the Bo Team announced the violation and said it carried out the attack along with military intelligence from Ukraine, another Hattivist group operating in Ukraine.
According to machine translations of the announcement, the three groups will “conduct large-scale work to seize the entire Gaskar group's network and the entire server infrastructure, gathering valuable information about existing and promising.” [unmanned aerial vehicles]information destruction and disabling this infrastructure continues. ”
The Bo team said during the cyberattack it destroyed more than 250 systems, including 46 virtual servers and over 200 workstations, wiped out 47 terabytes of corporate data and 10 terabytes of backups. Hacktivists added that they stole personal data of Gaskar Group employees, including their home address and family information during the violation.
Both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers have been using drones widely since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The Gascar Group reportedly supplies drones to the Russian army.
Gaskar Group did not immediately respond to requests for comments sent to the official telegram telephone number.
